So I got a new account and played 2 games won both and I was put on a 20 hour cooldown.
I retire. I throw in the towel. I am done.
Now, my question is will I get a 20 hour cooldown every time I win 2 games untill I win 10 games reset Or will I just have to deal with a single 20 hour cooldown and thats it? Why would they do that, so new people cant really play more than like 1. If matchmaking new I would use any extra time learning maps, recoil control, deathmatching for practice matchmaking just having fun on silly maps.
This is to prevent people creating new accounts to boost or cheat with and will help especially since the sale brings in cooldown cheaters. Also, there are far too many new people joining competitive but don't understand the fundamentals of the game like holding, retaking matchmaking site, playing time cooldown using smokes. If you're experienced then hop onto a cevo or faceit pug, they're free and have tick servers. Reset down the blatant cheaters so overwatch has a chance to ban them.
After 10 wins you are no longer restricted. It's a hopefully temporary quick fix for cheaters or boosters 1 who use alternate accounts to play. VAC gets cooldown lead time this way on scanning for cheats and makes how long to wait to email back online dating "jobs" more of a headache, as do the other matchmaking changes in the recent update.
Once you rack up your first ten wins, you should be golden. People who carry unskilled players to higher matchmaking ranks for reset fee. This mucks up matchmaking quite a bit. If I win 1 game, then play again 20 hours later, does it reset and let me two games?
Can someone do a cooldown CS: GO bypass because I get banned from comp for my power outages and internet stability and then get banned. Everything is handled server sided.
